As the owner of a pet grooming salon, I can’t tell you how many times, I saw a dog come through the door and what seemed like 15 minutes later in walks the owner. How many customers asked me why I didn’t carry the retractable leashes? I lost count. Of course, the next question. Why? The purpose of the lead is to control your dog. The retractable lead gives you a false sense of control. We’ve adopted/fostered a lot of dogs in last 30 years and many came with a retractable lead. Guess what we did with them? Smash the case and in to the trash. Thanks Portia’s mom for pointing out the dangers of this invention.D Barnumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13891489880391562601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8286733402811605546.post-10665541745441871092011-12-02T16:40:10.699-08:002011-12-02T16:40:10.699-08:00Thanks again to Portia's Mom for highlighting ...Thanks again to Portia's Mom for highlighting the dangers of the most simple, pleasant thing in the world - walking your dog.bvelivishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10893072890423617817noreply@blogger.com
