A Home for Christmas

This portrait says it all. Brody has found his forever home where he can settle in and be the Pekingese he is meant to be. Isn't he a handsome boy!

Many thanks to Charlie and Dayonne. Special thanks to Charlie who works around Brody's antics to produce the well groomed doggie in this portrait.

  1. He's a little character. Takes everything in stride except the rain. He isn't the outdoorsy type. Yes, he has a few issues with the grooming process like being brushed, bathed and having his nails clipped. It takes 2 to trim nails. The pitiful screaming starts with brushing and doesn't stop until he's safely back in his little kennel. Earplugs required on Brody grooming day.

He has settled in very nicely. He pays no attention to the cats. 10PM is bedtime and we get reminded of the time every evening starting about 9:30. Bedtime is also treat time and he happily heads to his kennel. Doesn't everyone decorate their bedroom with dog crates? LOL.

Thank you to his foster parents for helping Brody over his rough start and through his eye surgery recovery. Job well done!
